High Heels and Horse Hair providing the music at the Winter Gardens, Duthie Park, Aberdeen

Yes, we are delighted to be taking part in this 4th annual chamber music event again and looking forward to having the pleasure of hosting talented young Scottish duo, High Heels and Horse Hair, (Sonia Cromarty celllo and Alice Rickards violin).

Sponsored by Enterprise Music Scotland, National Chamber Music Day is fun for all ages. Young children are usually mesmerised by any sort of instrument and being able to get close up to a cello and to hear the beautiful rich sound that it makes brings the most wonderful expressions to their faces. And no matter what your musical taste is, adults will be charmed by Sonia and Alice’s music making.

You’ll find us in the Sunken Garden of the Winter Gardens at Duthie Park between 1pm and 3pm (with a short break for lunch) so please stop, listen and speak to any of us if you want to know more or simply have a chat.

If you are wondering how this duo got such an unusual name this photo might help explain but if you are still confused then visit their website at:
